Choir/Mallet Club

Mallet Club is open to any student in 4th or 5th grade and is the main instrumental club for Gorena Elementary.  If your child likes to play xylophones or drums, this club is for them.  The main focus of this group is to take the lessons learned in the general music class and extend them beyond the classroom.  Mallet club students will play songs, improvise, create movement, and learn how to properly play classroom percussion instruments through performance.  The Mallet Club meets on Monday at 3:45 pm - 5:00 pm. 

Mr. Garcia is the music teacher for choir and mallet clubs.
